Job Summary:

The Janitorial Operations Supervisor at PBA Products & Services serves a crucial role by directing the staff through the janitorial efforts of government and commercial contracts. This position is a working supervisor and is responsible for the performance of all direct report employees and serve as a liaison to the point of contract at the job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Successfully trains staff to perform duties and provide performance at their highest potential
• Always ensures proper staffing of contracted sites
• Maintains job site(s) supply inventory by delivering and ordering supplies
• Builds and upholds positive customer connections with on-site contract representatives and exceeds customer expectations
• Ensures compliance with organizations' standards and procedures
• Maintains janitorial equipment to ensure safe and proper working conditions
• Works directly with on-site staff to provide janitorial services as needed and identifies problems in the operations process to resolve them
• Assist at other janitorial sites when needed
• Assists the Operations Manager as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Previous janitorial experience
• Ability to travel to all job sites
• Ability to supervise all employees, including individuals with disabilities

Decision-Making Authority:

• Maintains equipment and janitorial supply inventory, hires appropriate staff to meet contract requirements, and ensures a professional environment.

Requirements:

A reliable form of transportation and a valid Driver's License Clearances Required/Need to

Obtain:

• Act 151 (Child Abuse History Clearance)
• Act 34 (Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History Clearance)
• Act 114 (Federal Criminal History Record Clearance)

Working Environment/Physical Demands:

Working Environment:

Work primarily in office buildings, schools, or other facilities. Manage the cleaning of various areas, including restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas. Occasionally work outdoors to supervise the cleaning of entryways and other exterior areas.

Physical Demands:

Extensive standing, reaching, and walking are required Responsibility to lift and /or carry supplies up to 40 Pounds without assistance,

Reasoning Abilities & Language Skills:

Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to follow and execute directives from leadership Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
