$75-85k + Growth Opportunity About the Role We're a well-established, family-owned lawn care and landscaping company looking for a hands-on Operations Leader to step into a critical leadership role and eventually take over a key division of the business. You'll work directly alongside a senior leader with plans to transition ownership of day-to-day operations over the next 6-12 months, with a clear path to broader leadership as the company grows. What You'll Be Responsible For Lead daily operations across: 13 field technicians 2 sales/service team members Own production, scheduling, and service delivery across lawn treatment programs Drive revenue growth, customer retention, and service quality Hire, train, and develop team members Enforce structure, accountability, and performance standards Ensure crews stay on track with seasonal production goals Step into increasing leadership responsibility with the goal of 70% operational ownership by November What Success Looks Like Crews consistently hit production targets Sales and service teams perform and grow accounts Customer cancellations are minimized Team is trained, accountable, and operating within systems Senior leadership can step away from daily operations with confidence You might be a fit if you: Have experience leading teams (operations, construction, military, trades, logistics, etc.) Are highly organized and thrive in fast-changing environments Can manage a diverse workforce (field crews, sales, admin) Communicate clearly, directly, and consistently Are calm under pressure and solutions-focused Are coachable—but also capable of making independent decisions Are willing to learn the business before trying to change it Additional Details Mix of residential (90%) and commercial (10%) work Structured, system-driven operation already in place Licensing in lawn care/turf applications will be required (company will support learning) Located in a rural area - great for those who enjoy space, outdoors, and a slower pace of life
