Job Description

Full Time (80 hours/pay period) Day/Evening Mon-Fri, 8:30a-4:30/5:00p (cross-over to when the 2nd shift team starts); supervisor on-call duties 4 weeks/year General Summary Supervises personnel and assists in managing the Imaging Department daily operations. Provides imaging services. Duties and Responsibilities Reviews and evaluates completed work for quality and completeness. Implements and oversees new procedures and related protocols. Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses and statements.
Common Expectations:
Selects, trains/orients, assigns department staff, evaluates performance, and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Responsible for the care and maintenance of department/entity equipment and supplies. Ensures that preventative maintenance is performed according to the established schedule. Manages resources within budgetary guidelines. Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required. Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings, and workshops. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. Required for

Qualifications Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required Work Experience:
2 years Relevant experience. Required and Supervisory experience.
Required Licenses:
Registered Technologist-Cardiac Interventional Radiology
  • ARRT Upon Hire Required or Registered Technologist-Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
  • ARRT Upon Hire Required or Registered Technologist-Radiation Therapy
  • ARRT Upon Hire Required or Registered Technologist-Quality Management
  • ARRT Upon Hire Required or Registered Technologist-Radiography
  • ARRT Upon Hire Required or Registered Technologist-Vascular Interventional Radiology
ARRT Upon Hire Required or Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and computer skills.
