We are seeking a motivated and professional Area Manager to oversee the daily operations of two of our mobile home communities, all located in close proximity within the Lynchburg, VA area. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader, responsible for maintaining high standards of property management, resident satisfaction, and financial performance across all three locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all day-to-day operations of the communities, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for all residents. Manage leasing activities, including marketing available units, screening prospective tenants, and executing lease agreements. Address resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure community rules and standards are being met. Coordinate with maintenance staff and third-party vendors to manage property upkeep and repairs. Handle rent collection, delinquency notices, and eviction proceedings as necessary. Maintain accurate records, including resident files, financial reports, and incident logs. Respond to major emergencies after hours on an occasional basis.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Prior experience in property management or leasing is highly desirable, but we are willing to consider candidates with a strong background in management, customer service, or a related field. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must have a reliable phone for consistent communication. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
