AREA MANAGER Commercial Janitorial Industry Dynamond Building Services is seeking a strong, professional Area Manager to join our growing team long-term. This is a salaried management position with a compensation range of $60,000-$65,000 base salary depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this position includes significant bonus potential paid twice per year based directly on area performance and profitability. This includes effectively managing labor budgets, staffing, operational efficiency, client retention, service quality, and overall performance of the area. This position can be very rewarding for the right person. Some weeks are relaxed and manageable, while other times can be demanding and require strong leadership. Success in this role comes from being proactive, organized, accountable, and confident handling problems before they become larger issues. We are looking for someone who: Has experience professionally managing people Is confident handling difficult situations and making decisions independently Can effectively manage their own time and responsibilities without constant oversight or micromanagement Understands that this is a management role requiring ownership, initiative, and accountability Can hire, train, lead, discipline, and terminate employees when necessary Is reliable, honest, accountable, and willing to go above and beyond when needed Can professionally represent the company to clients both in person and over the phone Feels comfortable conducting site inspections and maintaining strong client relationships consistently Is willing to occasionally work directly alongside employees to help service accounts when necessary Wants a long-term career opportunity with room to grow inside the company Understands how to lead with both operational and financial accountability

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Commercial janitorial management experience strongly preferred Basic computer skills required (email, spreadsheets, reporting, etc.) Understanding of profit and loss statements and the ability to make operational decisions based on profitability and labor performance Experience using and maintaining floor equipment such as propane buffers, auto scrubbers, vacuums, etc. Basic mechanical ability preferred (changing squeegees, batteries, troubleshooting equipment, transporting equipment, etc.)
