The Mission, Vision, Values of the Organization Since its inception, the mission for Annandale Art and Textile Center (AATC) has been Jobs with Dignity in a Joyful Place. We proudly employ adults with a variety of learning styles and abilities as weavers. We sell items made from the gorgeous fabrics created by the weaves in a curated gift gallery. We also sell the work of over 40 local artists and offer many crestive classes for the general public. Our team also inclused program support and retail management. AATC serves the Heart of the Lakes Weavers, our gallery customers and those who take creative onsite classes with us. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Business Operations to lead and optimize our organizational processes. This pivotal role, accountable to the Board of Directors, is involves overseeing financial management, focused on implementing and evaluating the strategic plan as set by the Board of Directors. This role primarily guides the onsite staff and collaborates with the Board of Directors to help ensure the organization's operations align with overall goals and values. This role requires at least one day onsite in our Annandale locatation while also working remotely. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence operational excellence while working flexibly to support our mission-driven organization. Core Job Responsibilities Overall Operations Management Responsible for operations in alignment with the strategic plan that is established by the Board of Directors. Implement and monitor operations reports/metrics
Contracting:
Supply, Vendor, Other (Write/Approve Monitor all contracts) Staff and Contract Workers Hire, Develop, Evaluate, Corrective Action Operational oversight. Implement and review Policies, Guidelines, Processes and Procedures Finances Responsible for overall fiduciary management Oversight of finances and bookkeeping, payroll other financial need Reports needed for financial oversight Implement and monitor financial reports/metrics Work with AATC's accountants on accounting and tax preparation/payment. Strategy Management Implements & Evaluates the Strategic Plan that is established by the Board of Directors. Risk Management & Compliance Identify organizational/operational risk areas. Develop and implement a response plan as needed. Comply with all legal, policy and procedural requirements. Facilitate compliance across the organization. Qualifications Required Experience with or high level of comfort working with individuals with a variety of learning styles and abilities. Related experience in and knowledge of Operations Management The ability to deliver all functions within the guiding mission, strategy, and values of the organization. Excellent communication skills. Excellent computer skills with ease across multiple platforms or willingness to learn/grow skills. Leadership qualities with experience guiding cross-functional teams and projects in a fast paced environment. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making. Preferred Business Operations experience, including risk analysis, compliance management, and regulatory reporting. Accounting experience or background. Educational background A bachelor degree in business management or demonstrated/relevant experience.
