Job Description

Director of Tax Operations & Tax Planning Compensation:
$100,000-$120,000 + Bonus +
Profit Sharing Location:
Hybrid or Remote About Us The Taxation Experts Inc. is a growing CPA firm serving individuals, real estate investors, and small business owners. We are looking for a CPA who can help lead our team, improve operations, expand tax planning services, and become a key leader within the firm. This is not a traditional tax manager role. We are seeking someone who enjoys leadership, client relationships, tax strategy, and building systems. Responsibilities Review individual and business tax returns Conduct tax planning meetings and projections Lead client advisory discussions Manage tax staff and workflow Improve processes and operational efficiency Ensure deadlines and quality standards are met Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring staff Serve as a trusted advisor to business owner clients Help grow tax planning and advisory services Qualifications Active CPA license 7+ years of public accounting experience Strong tax review and planning experience Experience managing staff Excellent client communication skills Ability to lead projects and make decisions independently What Success Looks Like Within the first year, you will: Become the primary manager of tax workflow Lead tax planning engagements with clients Improve operational efficiency Help reduce owner involvement in daily operations Contribute to firm growth and profitability Compensation & Growth Base salary: $100,000-$120,000 Performance-based bonus Profit-sharing opportunities Long-term leadership growth potential If you enjoy solving client problems, leading teams, and helping build a modern CPA firm, we'd love to hear from you.
