Operations Manager- Hybrid Role- 75% Hotel F&B Focused with 25% Hotel Operations.

Hours are 1pm-11pm.

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Create and manage all food and beverage budgetsDrive food and beverage profitsHire, train, and schedule all food and beverage staffManage banquet functionsWork closely with the sales department on catering contractsWeekly distribution of BEOsConduct proper inventory of all food and beverage area weeklyEnsure proper brand standard presentations during all meal timesManage updates to published materials related to food and beverageProper daily inspection of main kitchen, restaurant, buffet area, and meeting rooms to ensure cleanlinessCover shifts as needed including cooking and bartendingMonitors and ensures compliance with all guidelines for operations Conducts monthly department meetings to review new procedures and solicit input from all employees Handles and provides resolution to guest complaints and employee issues Assigns duties to employees and subordinates and observes performance to ensure adherence to hotel and franchise policies and established operating procedures Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services Assists General Manager in annual wage scale surveys; ensures employee wages follow wage and salary guidelines Ensures property hiring practices comply with all state and federal requirements Supervises work activities of housekeeping staff and front desk staffEnsures adherence to company quality standards by inspecting rooms, including deep cleansAll other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises food and beverage team, front desk, housekeeping, laundry, and/or maintenance staff as determined by General Manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Preferably 1+ year of similar experience in Select Service or Extended Stay propertiesF&B Experience is a must.

Hotel Operations experience is preferred.

Brand Experience preferred.

Knowledgeable in Inventories, Scheduling, and Ordering.

Valid Drivers License.

Open Availability and able to work 1pm-10pm shift.

Education Preferred of Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college, or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
