Operations Manager

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and drive the success of our retail or service-oriented business. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of store management, sales strategies, inventory control, and team development. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality customer service Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets Manage inventory levels, conduct stock control, and oversee purchasing activities Oversee employee orientation, training & development programs, and performance evaluations Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity Coordinate merchandising efforts, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, and ensure compliance with company policies Conduct interviews and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong team Maintain effective communication with staff and customers to foster a positive environment Monitor sales data using POS systems and retail math principles to inform decision-making Manage marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and customer engagement Oversee budgeting processes and ensure operational expenses align with financial goals Ensure adherence to safety standards, health regulations, and organizational policies Requirements Proven management experience in retail or similar environment with supervisory responsibilities Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, inventory management tools, and basic bookkeeping software Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, customer service excellence, and sales management Experience with employee recruitment, training & development, payroll processing, and administrative tasks Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control, merchandising, and store presentation Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling procedures Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies and sales analysis Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Familiarity with marketing strategies relevant to retail environments Previous assistant manager or store management experience is preferred This position offers an engaging environment for motivated professionals eager to lead teams toward operational excellence while fostering a positive shopping experience for customers.

Pay:

$144,000.00 - $168,000.00 per year
