Location US-VA-Mclean Security Clearance Clearable Overview/ Job Responsibilities Entarian is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to join our growing team. This role will support the CFO, broader finance team, executives and financial sponsors and lenders with strategic finance initiatives including long-term strategic modeling, M&A opportunity evaluation and due diligence, platform and target valuation and modeling, and other ad-hoc internal financial analysis and projects. This role will report directly to the CFO and have a high degree of interaction with the broader Entarian finance & accounting team, business leadership, and other operational teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to executives and higher finance professionals, experience owning enterprise-critical initiatives, and develop skills in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment at a company undergoing meaningful growth and transformation. Core Responsibilities Strategic Finance and M&A Serve as a key thought partner to the CFO on growth strategy and financial positioning
Lead financial due diligence and forecasting workstreams for M&A transactions, including modeling, synergy analysis, and post-close integration planning
Evaluate strategic initiatives including new contract pursuits, market expansion, and organic vs. inorganic growth opportunities
Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support scenario analysis, business case development, and executive decision-making
Support investor and board-level reporting, including preparation of board / lender decks and management presentations as needed
Partner with leadership on rate strategy, indirect cost structure, and profitability optimization across the portfolio
Liaise directly with private equity sponsors, lenders, investment bankers
Own and maintain Entarian's M&A pipeline, working closely with executive leadership, private equity sponsors, and others to identify, evaluate and pursue relevant M&A targets FP&A Leadership Support development and implementation of FP&A process and projects, with high analytical rigor and output quality standards
Assist with quarterly forecasting and re-forecasting cycles with speed and accuracy, working closely with the core Entarian FP&A team
Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting models; working closely with the broader Entarian finance & accounting team on treasury and cash management
Build financial reporting infrastructure to support operational visibility and executive accountability
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and other financial outputs GovCon Finance & Compliance Working closely with relevant Entarian stakeholders and external advisors, own and develop indirect rates models and strategies while ensuring compliance with DCAA requirements and FAR/government contracting frameworks
Collaborate with accounting on multi-entity integration and process alignment
Maintain financial governance standards across a complex, multi-contract portfolio This is a remote position. Occasional domestic travel for conferences, M&A opportunities, etc. will be possible but not required. The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $170,000/year. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree / MBA preferred)
7+ years of progressive finance experience
Government contracting (GovCon) background with working knowledge of indirect rates and DCAA compliance
Demonstrated M&A experience - financial due diligence, integration, or transaction support
Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency
High energy and strong work ethic Desired Qualifications Early-career foundation in consulting, investment banking, or professional services
Technical due diligence (TDD) or financial due diligence (FDD) experience
Familiarity with Unanet and/or Decerio FP&A
Experience scaling finance functions through acquisition integration or rapid organizational transformation
MBA, other finance-relevant graduate degree, CPA, and/or CFA a plus About Us Compensation
