Sr. Manager, Strategy

Job Location:

RemoteHershey, PA preferred. Open to remote with travel to Hershey, PA (once a quarter) and various location (as needed). The Strategy team sits at the center of that work, helping define where the company plays, how we win, and what the next chapter of growth looks like. The Senior Manager, Strategy plays a critical role in tackling Hershey's most important enterprise questions. This role partners closely with senior leaders across the organization to translate insight into action, lead high-impact strategic initiatives, and help chart the course for Hershey's 3-year strategic agenda. Key Responsibilities:

 

• Play a central role in the planning and annual execution of Hershey's 3-year Enterprise Strategic Plan
• Independently scope, structure, and lead high-impact strategy projects with minimal oversight
• Lead complex problem solving and address critical strategic issues and decisions facing the enterprise
• Synthesize and analyze multiple internal and external data sources (POS, household panel, inventory, shipments, P&L statements, market trends, competitive insights) to develop clear business recommendations
• Develop executive-level presentations for the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors
• Support corporate strategy development, business development initiatives, and scenario modeling
• Lead cross-functional project teams from beginning to end, providing direction, structure, and mentorship to indirect team members
• Be recognized as an established leader and consultative partner among senior leaders across functions

Education:

Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent marketplace experience highly preferred

Experience:

• 8+ years of combined experience in a leading CPG company, top-tier strategy consulting firm, or a combination of both
• Proven experience leading strategic and data-driven recommendations and decisions
• Strong understanding of market research, consumer insights, and analytical techniques
• Experience driving change and influencing decisions in a complex business environment
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment
