Job Description

Jacobs is seeking Operations and Maintenance Consultants with experience in environmental remediation and regulatory compliance. Areas of expertise range from helping clients with Asset Management, I & C plant issues, project start-ups, staffing models, permitting and specialized consulting services mostly for OMFS and water/wastewater clients.
Additional duties as assigned:
Provide field oversight of remedial action construction activities, including observation and documentation of work performed by contractors. Support quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews of field activities and associated documentation. Assist in monitoring compliance with approved health and safety plans (e.g., HASP). Maintain detailed field logs and documentation, including daily observations, stakeholder interactions, results of field testing, and conformance with approved project plans (e.g., RAWP, QAPP, HASP). Document and communicate deviations from approved plans, including supporting records such as field notebooks, logs, photographs, and/or videography, as appropriate. Perform additional remedial action oversight and technical support activities. BS degree and three (3) years of experience; Or a high school diploma or equivalent and seven (7) years of experience in lieu of the degree Direct experience with day-to-day operations of field staff performing aspects of maintenance, operations and response Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Technical experience with Environmental Monitoring Equipment (PID, XRF, YSI) Technical experience with Remediation System Controls & Sensors The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree Knowledge of Asset Management System concepts, principles, and procedures; workflow and asset management principles and techniques Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills Establish schedules, priorities and develop project implementation plans Plan, organize and coordinate work of associates including budget, training others and generating data and reports Certifications (Current - or able to obtain once hired) • 40-Hour
