Hospitality Operations Manager

Overview Schulz Bräu Brewing Company is looking for a Hospitality Operations Manager to help lead the daily operations of our Taproom, Biergarten, and event spaces. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys hospitality, live entertainment, events, and fast-paced environments. We are looking for someone who can lead a team, stay organized, and help create a smooth and welcoming guest experience during both everyday service and large events. Schulz Bräu is more than just a brewery. Between live music, festivals, private events, sport watch parties, and one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the region, there is always something happening here. The ideal candidate enjoys both hospitality operations and being part of an energetic, event-driven environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily front-of-house and taproom operations Hire, onboard, train, schedule, and manage FOH staff Maintain strong hospitality, cleanliness, and service standards Support staff and assist with operational flow during busy shifts and events Handle guest concerns professionally Oversee cash handling, drawer reconciliation, tip reporting, and timecard accuracy Manage weekly ordering of liquor, guest beer, mixers, and bar supplies Maintain inventory organization and stock levels Help coordinate staffing and operational execution for private events, live music, festivals, and large-scale brewery events Work closely with ownership and the Events & Guest Experience team to ensure smooth event operations and guest experience Maintain staff accountability and performance standards Issue written warnings, maintain disciplinary documentation, and conduct employee terminations when necessary Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor, and alcohol service regulations Help improve operational systems and overall guest experience Qualifications Several years of hospitality, restaurant, brewery, or bar management experience required Strong leadership and communication skills Experience managing staff, scheduling, inventory, and high-volume operations Comfortable leading teams in fast-paced hospitality environments Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and labor oversight Knowledge of beer and draft systems preferred Passion for hospitality and guest experience Schedule Expectations This is not a traditional 9-5 role. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required based on business needs and event schedules.
