POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Operations is a pivotal role responsible for crafting and executing the overarching strategy and vision for both construction and operations teams. This individual will drive the attainment or surpassing of established operational goals to align with divisional business objectives while ensuring strict adherence to company protocols and the attainment of exceptional customer service standards of safety, scheduling budget management, and quality assurance. Creates repeatable systems, trackers, templates, and workflows that make the company easier to run and easier to scale. Has the ability to take a loose idea or operational problem and turn it into a clear, usable process that teams can follow. Leads the charge on company innovation by looking for better ways to manage work, collect data, improve reporting, support project teams, and reduce repetitive effort. Challenges the norm while keeping implementation practical and useful. Works closely with Elmington Data & Analytics to improve how EdgeHill collects, organizes, reports, and uses operational information. Understands the importance of accurate data, consistent inputs, and clean reporting tools. Writes clear, practical SOPs, templates, checklists, and implementation documents that help project teams execute consistently. Understands that a process only works if the field and office can use it. Identifies operational risks and builds controls to reduce inconsistency across projects. Protects the company by creating standard workflows, documentation habits, and accountability tools as EdgeHill grows. Supports long-term company growth by developing new operational capabilities such as prefabrication, UL listing initiatives, in-house component manufacturing, and scalable QA/QC systems. SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE
A.S. Degree in Construction Management, Business, Data/Analytics, Electrical Technology, or related program preferred but not required if experience levels are high. 10+ Years of Construction Industry Experience 5+ Years of construction, operations, project controls, electrical, data/analytics, or process development experience preferred. Experience creating operational systems, trackers, SOPs, templates, dashboards, or implementation tools strongly preferred. Strong working knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction document workflows preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires travel up to 50% of the time.
