Our company is built on long-term relationships, dealer profitability, transparency, and a hands-on approach to helping our dealer partners grow. We are seeking an experienced District Manager to represent Horizon Equity Group Dealer Services in the field and support our continued growth with dealership clients. Position Summary The District Manager will be responsible for managing and developing dealer relationships within an assigned territory. This position will work directly with Dealer Principals, General Managers, GSMs, Finance Directors, Finance Managers, and Fixed Operations leaders to increase F&I product performance, improve process execution, support compliance, and strengthen overall dealer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong automotive retail experience, F&I knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train, motivate, and influence dealership personnel. Key ResponsibilitiesDealer Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealer ownership, executive management, F&I teams, sales management, and fixed operations leadership. Serve as the primary field contact for assigned dealer accounts. Conduct regular dealership visits to review performance, identify opportunities, and support dealership objectives. Represent Horizon Equity Group Dealer Services with professionalism, urgency, and a dealer-first mindset. F&I Performance Development Analyze dealership F&I performance, including product penetration, PVR, VSC, GAP, ancillary products, reserve, chargebacks, cancellations, and overall income trends. Create action plans to improve F&I profitability and product performance. Support dealership teams in improving menu presentation, product knowledge, customer engagement, and closing effectiveness. Assist dealers in maximizing participation in reinsurance, retro, and other wealth-building structures where applicable. Training & Coaching Provide ongoing training to Finance Managers, Sales Managers, and sales personnel on F&I products, process, compliance, and customer presentation. Conduct one-on-one coaching and group training sessions. Help establish consistent dealership processes that improve customer experience, compliance, and profitability. Account Growth & Retention Identify opportunities to increase product usage and expand Horizon Equity Group Dealer Services' relationship within existing accounts. Assist with onboarding new dealer clients and implementing agency programs. Monitor dealer satisfaction and proactively resolve issues before they impact the relationship. Partner with internal administration, claims, cancellation, accounting, and provider teams to ensure timely support for dealer clients. Reporting & Accountability Prepare dealership performance reviews and present results to dealer leadership. Track key performance indicators and provide regular updates to company leadership. Maintain accurate records of dealer visits, action items, training activities, and account opportunities. Communicate market feedback, competitive activity, and dealer needs to Horizon Equity Group Dealer Services leadership. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of automotive retail experience preferred. Prior F&I Manager, Finance Director, GSM, General Manager, or F&I agency field representative experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of automotive F&I products, including vehicle service contracts, GAP, maintenance, tire and wheel, appearance protection, ancillary products, and related programs. Proven ability to build trust with dealership leadership and influence performance. Strong training, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to analyze dealership financial and F&I performance data. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field. Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory. High level of professionalism, integrity, and follow-through. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal District Manager is a relationship-driven automotive professional who understands dealership operations and knows how to help dealers improve F&I performance without disrupting store culture. This person is confident in front of dealer ownership, respected by F&I managers, and capable of balancing accountability with service. They should be hands-on, responsive, competitive, and committed to helping dealer partners succeed. Compensation Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Package may include base salary, performance-based incentives, benefits, travel allowance, and other compensation opportunities based on territory performance and dealer account growth.
