This role is vital in driving operational excellence, ensuring seamless store management, and fostering a customer-centric environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. As an Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in implementing effective processes, managing staff, and optimizing overall store performance to meet and exceed company goals. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service activities. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity. Manage employee orientation, training & development programs, and conduct interviews to build a high-performing team. Oversee purchasing, merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels. Cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management accurately. Coordinate shift management, scheduling, and supervise cashiering duties to ensure smooth store flow. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication skills, leadership, and team management. Monitor retail math metrics such as sales targets, budgeting, and sales management to drive revenue growth. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract customers and increase sales. Ensure compliance with safety standards, phone etiquette protocols, and organizational policies at all times. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with assistant manager experience preferred. Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, team leadership, and employee training & development. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases. Expertise in inventory management systems (including POS), purchasing procedures, and retail math calculations. Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and budgeting is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage staff schedules, supervise sales associates, and oversee shift operations effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts efficiently. Organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, stock replenishment, and inventory control. Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong leadership qualities coupled with time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
