In this role, you will oversee U.S. Customs brokerage operation, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining smooth workflows and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve business goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily brokerage operations, including customer service and staff management Manage staff timesheets and employee time off request and handling procedures with accuracy and integrity Recruit, interview, and train team members to foster a high-performing workforce aligned with company and U.S. Customs standards Develop and implement employee orientation programs and ongoing training & development initiatives Coordinate shift management, scheduling, and ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations Utilize RB Systems for transactions and productivity reports Maintain excellent communication skills to resolve U.S. Customs, other partner agencies, and customer issues promptly and professionally Monitor operations performance metrics such as on time processing and data accuracy Experience Proven management experience in U.S. Brokerage environments with supervising responsibilities Strong background in team management Demonstrated skills in RB Systems operation preferred but not required Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting training sessions Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse teams, U.S. government, and customers Familiarity with math concepts such as pricing strategies Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory; leadership qualities are essential Knowledgeable with CBP CFR import regulations and FTR export regulations Join us as an Operations Manager to lead with energy, inspire your team, and deliver outstanding results!
