Shall address and resolve all issues pertaining to practice operations in accordance with established budgets and policies and procedures of PMA. Shall demonstrate visibility and build trust among all PMA team members and with physicians under management; manage and develop human resources of the practices; promote the use of information technology and systems; participate in PMA goals; establish and maintain budgets for practices; implement new clinical and other programs including the ACO that PMA is a participant; integrate newly acquired physician practices into PMA; and complete other duties as assigned.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education:
Candidates with relevant advanced degrees (e.g.
MSN, MHA, MBA
) or clinical background preferred.
Required Skills:
Computer skills in Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) with emphasis on databases and spreadsheets.
Preferred Skills:
Current Electronic Health Record (EHR) in use or other physician practice systems experience.
Required Experience:
At least five (5) years of health care experience including three years of direct practice management experience in a large practice.
Preferred Experience:
Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible work experience in physician practice management in a large, multispecialty setting.
