Our Center is now taking applications for Operations Director. This is an extremely important position at our Center. The Operations Director is responsible for planning, leading, directing, and achieving all business and operational results associated with functional areas as assigned. Ensure all health center operations meet community needs, and that all services are delivered in an efficient, productive, compliant and effective manner. This position ensures staff complies with all regulatory initiatives and policies/procedures. Reports to the Executive Director. Responsibilities and Duties Ensures all health center operations function in an efficient and effective manner, to include, but not limited to: clinic operations, facilities & environment, risk management and security, scheduling and records management, information systems, and ancillary services. Though supervision and coordination with different departments, the Operations Director works to ensure the Center achieves all intended outcomes; as well as demonstrates leadership and best practices in the healthcare services offered. Ensure all health center operations are managed and perform within regulatory and accreditation standards, corporate policies, quality initiatives and standards, and related measures. Work with the Medical Director and other leaders to ensure the organization demonstrates a professional atmosphere and a culture resulting in positive provider/associate relations. Establish and ensure collaborative, supporting relationships within the organization. Resolve conflicts, and ensure that all associates perform their functions in a manner consistent with organizational policies, procedures, and best practices associated with their respective disciplines. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration preferred, 7 years of relevant work experience can be substituted. Experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) preferred. Senior level management experience, ideally at a healthcare related organization.
