No Job Summary/Description The Strategic Outreach Manager for the AI COE is responsible for developing and executing long-term outreach strategies that strengthen the pipeline of students into AI programs while aligning education pathways with workforce needs. This role builds and sustains partnerships with public schools, community colleges, and industry stakeholders, serves as a key ambassador through community engagement and events, and advances career readiness initiatives that support student transitions into AI-related careers. Additionally, the position plays a central role in ecosystem building by connecting education, workforce, and industry partners to position the AI COE as a regional hub for AI talent development and innovation. Typical Duties/Job Duties Develop and implement comprehensive 1
- 3• and 5-year strategic outreach plans to build and sustain a robust pipeline of students from high schools and community colleges into AI and related programs, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and workforce needs.
Establish, cultivate, and maintain strategic partnerships with public schools, community colleges, industry partners, and community organizations to support AI initiatives, program development, and workforce pipeline alignment and maintain report data on outcomes to assess effectiveness, inform strategy, and demonstrate ROI. Coordinate outreach programs, events, workshops, and engagement activities, including participation in career fairs and community events, to increase awareness, access, and enrollment in AI-related educational pathways. Lead and support career readiness initiatives by collaborating with internal (i.e. Center for Career and Professional Success) and external stakeholders to connect students with resources, experiential learning opportunities, and pathways to AI and technology careers. Represent the AI COE as a primary ambassador in the community, maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders and promoting the Center's mission, programs, and impact. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including students, educators, administrators, and industry stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining strong organizational and time management practices. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree, plus three years experience in a secondary school (grades 8-12) or higher education setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
