Job Description

Team Leader - Schulenburg Family Fitness Center We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Team Leader to help oversee daily gym operations, support staff, and provide an outstanding member experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, customer service, problem solving, and working in a fast-paced environment. The Team Leader will work closely with management to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations while supporting staff, members, and facility needs. Responsibilities
  • Lead and support staff during daily gym operations
  • Approve employee timesheets and assist with scheduling needs
  • Maintain memberships, billing updates, cancellations, and member records
  • Address member questions, concerns, and operational issues professionally and promptly
  • Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming environment for all members
  • Assist with staff communication, training, and accountability
  • Monitor facility cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation
  • Handle opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned
  • Participate in discussions regarding staffing, scheduling, expenses, and operational improvements
  • Support implementation of new procedures, promotions, and facility initiatives
  • Provide ideas to improve member experience, team workflow, and daily operations
  • Help monitor supplies, memberships, and operational needs
  • Assist with pool-related operations and member concerns when applicable Qualifications
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
  • Experience in fitness, recreation, hospitality, retail, or customer service environments is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable handling member concerns and team issues professionally
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented mindset
  • Basic computer and administrative skills required
  • Knowledge of pool operations, maintenance, or safety regulations is a plus Schedule & Availability Requirements
  • Full-time position - 5 days per week
  • Must be available to work varying shifts including opening, middle, and closing shifts
  • Weekend availability may be required What We're Looking For Someone who is dependable, proactive, approachable, and ready to take ownership of helping the gym run smoothly while creating a positive experience for both members and staff.
Pay:
From $29,100.00 per year
