Chief of Operations

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for the overall management, strategic planning, development, evaluation, and implementation of the district's maintenance, transportation, custodial services, warehousing, safety/security, and special projects as assigned.

Major Responsibilities Include:

Oversee district facilities maintenance, transportation, warehouse, and custodial operations Provide leadership for campus and district safety initiatives Supervise maintenance, transportation, custodial, and operations staff Develop and manage departmental budgets, purchasing, and inventory Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations Coordinate emergency response planning and district-wide safety procedures Collaborate with principals and department leaders on operational needs Present operational reports and recommendations to district leadership and the

Board Qualifications:

Master's degree preferred Experience in transportation, safety, security, or related operational leadership Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and personnel management skills Knowledge of maintenance, custodial, transportation, and district safety operations
