Description/Notes:
Sinton ISD is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as Chief of Operations. This district-level leadership position is responsible for overseeing maintenance, transportation, custodial services, warehouse operations, safety/security, and special projects. The Chief of Operations works closely with campus administrators and district leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and effective daily operations across all district facilities and support services.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Directing maintenance, custodial, transportation, and warehouse operations
  • Leading district-wide safety and emergency planning initiatives
  • Supervising operations staff and department leaders
  • Managing budgets, purchasing, and inventory
  • Ensuringpliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Supporting principals and campuses with operational needs This role presents an excellent opportunity for a strategic leader dedicated to fostering student success through robust district operations.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
  • Master's degree in educational leadership, business administration, public administration, or related field preferred
  • Valid Texas Principal Certificate preferred
  • Experience in school district operations, transportation, maintenance, safety, or related leadership role
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Experience managing budgets and departmental operations
  • Knowledge of school safety, facilities management, and transportation systems
  • Excellentmunication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with district leadership and campus administration
Preferred:
  • Valid Texasmercial driver's license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
