The Opportunity You will function as the principal's trusted operational partner, overseeing the household, coordinating family logistics, managing staff and vendors, and anticipating needs before they arise. Required Qualifications Candidates must meet all of the following criteria: Minimum of 15 years of experience managing private households, family offices, estates, or serving in senior-level household management roles. Epxerience working with pre-teen aged children Extensive experience overseeing household staff, service providers, and vendors. Demonstrated longevity and success within prior private-service positions. A minimum of three outstanding professional references from private households or comparable environments. Exceptional discretion, integrity, and professionalism. Proven ability to establish structure, accountability, and consistency for school-age children while maintaining a warm and supportive presence. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and willingness to provide transportation support as needed. Ability to pass comprehensive background and reference checks. Primary Responsibilities Household Leadership & Operations Direct all day-to-day household operations. Maintain exceptional standards of organization, cleanliness, inventory, and household readiness. Hire, train, schedule, and oversee household staff and service providers. Manage maintenance, repairs, property vendors, deliveries, and ongoing household projects. Develop and maintain systems, procedures, and operational documentation to ensure consistency and continuity. Family & Children's Logistics Coordinate schedules, transportation, appointments, extracurricular activities, and family commitments. Support academic routines and ensure consistency around study expectations and daily structure. Serve as a dependable, trusted adult presence within the household. Encourage independence, responsibility, and age-appropriate accountability in children while providing appropriate oversight. Executive & Lifestyle Support Manage personal calendars, appointments, reminders, travel logistics, and family scheduling. Coordinate health, wellness, and lifestyle routines. Anticipate needs, identify potential issues early, and implement solutions proactively. Ensure the principal's time and attention remain focused on high-value priorities. Team Building & Leadership Recruit, onboard, and supervise household staff and specialty service providers. Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards. Serve as the central communication hub for all household operations. Create a culture of professionalism, reliability, and excellence among the household team. Household Transitions & Special Projects Lead household setup initiatives, transitions, and operational launches. Coordinate vendors, service providers, documentation, and logistics during periods of change. Manage special projects from planning through execution while maintaining seamless day-to-day operations. Who You Are A highly experienced household leader with over 15 years of success in private-service environments. Calm under pressure and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. A builder of systems, teams, and efficient processes. Naturally proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused. Warm, polished, and professional in all interactions. Skilled at balancing high standards with emotional intelligence. Technologically proficient with modern communication, scheduling, and project-management tools. Committed to discretion, confidentiality, and long-term partnership. Preferred Qualifications CPR, First Aid, or related certifications. Experience coordinating private chefs, nutrition programs, or wellness-focused households. Prior experience establishing or rebuilding household operations during relocations or major transitions. Estate management or family office experience. Background supporting high-performing executives, entrepreneurs, or principals with demanding schedules.
