• 155,000 + Full Benefits (Day One) Relocation Assistance Available Westlake Pipe & Fittings is hiring a Plant Operations Manager to lead the startup of a PVCO / plastics extrusion manufacturing facility in Wichita Falls, TX.

This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for building operations, stabilizing production, and driving long-term plant performance. This is not a traditional operations role. We are seeking a hands-on leader with plastics or extrusion manufacturing experience who thrives in a startup environment and is comfortable spending significant time on the production floor driving results.

Requirements:

7-10+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience required. Strong background in plastics, PVC, or extrusion manufacturing required. Experience supporting plant startup or major production ramp-up strongly preferred. Proven ability to drive throughput, yield, and efficiency while leading production teams. Must be a hands-on, floor-oriented leader.

What You'll Do:

Lead daily production operations in a plastics / extrusion environment. Drive output, efficiency, and quality standards. Support commissioning and ramp-up phases of the plant. Build and develop shift supervisors and frontline teams. Partner with Maintenance to ensure uptime and reliability. Establish operational discipline and continuous improvement processes.

Preferred:

Experience in PVC pipe, polymer manufacturing, or building materials. Lean or Six Sigma exposure.
