You will be responsible for the high-volume output of custom-built servers, the logistics of shipping and receiving, and the rapid troubleshooting of hardware issues. We need a manager who operates independently, excels at workflow optimization, and can manage a diverse team of technicians without needing day-to-day "handholding."

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the end-to-end server build process, ensuring quality assembly and hardware testing meet our high standards. Manage the flow of hardware and built servers to customers. Act as a technical escalation point for hardware failures. When a technician is stuck on a server issue, you provide the guidance to get it resolved. Conduct performance reviews, manage shift schedules, and build a training pipeline for new technicians (e.g., leveling up computer techs to leads or data center techs). Identify bottlenecks in the build-to-ship pipeline. If a process is slowing us down, you have the autonomy to fix it. Ensure all custom deployments are accurate to the client's specifications. You are responsible for "underpromising and overdelivering" on lead times. Develop, document, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and scalability across all departments. Qualifications:

5+ years of experience managing teams of 20+ people in a production, warehouse, or technical environment. Strong hands-on knowledge of server hardware (CPU, RAM, storage, chassis) and basic hardware troubleshooting. Proven experience in technical writing or developing operational manuals and SOPs from scratch. Proven ability to manage teams and a large headcount with minimal supervision. Experience with inventory management and high-value shipping/receiving. Ability to pivot the team quickly for "last-minute" custom projects without losing morale.

Salary:

$85,000.00-$95,000.00 annually, depending on experience.

Work environment:
