Responsibilities Manage daily gym operations, including shift scheduling, member check-ins, and facility maintenance to ensure smooth functioning. Lead, supervise, and motivate staff members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high performance standards. Oversee guest services by addressing member inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment. Coordinate special events, fitness classes, and promotional activities to enhance member engagement and community involvement. Handle cash transactions, manage reports on attendance, sales, and incident logs with accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure safety protocols are followed rigorously; conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and equipment functionality. Develop reports on operational performance; analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Skills Proven management experience in environments with a focus on customer service excellence. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments. Strong background in events management and shift coordination to maximize operational efficiency. Excellent report writing abilities for documenting incidents, sales figures, and operational metrics. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a fitness or leisure facility is highly desirable.
