Basic Job Functions:
The Melt-Cast Shift Supervisor is a key member of the leadership team who models Nucors culture and leads safe, efficient operations. This role is responsible for developing teammates, overseeing production and maintenance activities, managing projects, handling administrative duties, and ensuring clear communication across the shift. The position requires a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. [[cust_safetyState]]
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Three years of leadership experience + Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership. + At least two years of steel manufacturing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Two or four-year technical degree. + At least two years of melting and/or casting experience with an understanding of the steelmaking process.
