Director of Operations - Employment Services RISE Services RISE Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Interim Director of Operations - Employment Services to provide operational leadership across our employment and community-based service programs. This is a leadership position for someone who thrives in fast-paced human services environments and can balance operational oversight, staffing coordination, compliance management, and strategic problem-solving while supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful community employment outcomes. The Director of Operations plays a critical role in ensuring operational stability, staffing alignment, service quality, compliance oversight, and organizational growth across service regions. Position Summary The Director of Operations - Employment Services is responsible for: Operational leadership and program oversight Staffing coordination and scheduling support Service utilization and workflow management Compliance and documentation oversight Systems governance and operational accountability Leadership support during staffing shortages or operational disruptions Oversight of employment and housing-related operational services This role works closely with executive leadership to support program growth, operational consistency, and service stability. This position includes approximately 10 billable/direct service hours weekly to maintain field awareness and provide strategic staffing support when necessary. Key Responsibilities Oversee operational performance across employment service programs Monitor staffing coverage and scheduling efficiency Support service continuity during vacancies and staffing shortages Ensure compliance with documentation and service standards Monitor utilization, operational workflows, and KPIs Support operational systems including CaseWorthy and Monday.com Assist with hiring, onboarding, and leadership development Support housing-related operational coordination Lead workflow standardization and process improvement initiatives Collaborate with executive leadership on operational planning and expansion efforts Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: Leadership experience in human services, behavioral health, healthcare, employment services, or related fields Experience supervising teams and coordinating operations Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience managing staffing and operational workflows Knowledge of documentation compliance and regulated service environments Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced settings Strong communication and leadership skills Preferred experience with: Medicaid-funded services Employment services Community-based programs Housing or supportive housing services Case management or EHR systems Operational tracking platforms Scheduling & Availability Expectations Candidates should be comfortable with: Occasional early morning or evening operational communication Periodic weekend availability for urgent operational matters Regional travel within service areas Responding to staffing or service coverage issues as needed What We're Looking For We are looking for leaders who: Remain calm under pressure Can make operational decisions independently Support accountability while maintaining professionalism Value teamwork and operational consistency Can build systems and improve workflows Are adaptable and solution-focused Position Details Full-Time Exempt Leadership Position Hybrid/Community-Based Role Regional Travel Required Competitive Salary Based on Experience Why Join RISE Services?
