Senior Superintendent - Heavy Civil Construction (Manassas, VA)$100,000-$165,000A well‑established heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale site development and utility projects in the Manassas, VA area. This role is ideal for a proven field leader who can oversee complex projects and mentor field teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership of field operations across major projectsOversee Superintendents, Foremen, and crews on sitework, grading, and utility scopesManage scheduling, manpower, equipment, and subcontractors at a high levelEnsure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with plans and specificationsCoordinate with project management, clients, engineers, and inspectorsEnforce safety standards and drive a strong jobsite safety cultureAssist with project planning, sequencing, and problem-solvingMentor and develop field leadership team membersQualifications8+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent in heavy civil constructionStrong background in site development, grading, and underground utilitiesExperience managing large, complex projects and multiple crewsAbility to read and interpret civil drawings and specificationsProven leadership, communication, and organizational skillsOSHA 30 preferredBenefitsStable pipeline of local and regional projectsHealth insurance and comprehensive benefits packagePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan optionsCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceLong‑term growth into senior field leadership roles
