The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with welding and fabrication techniques, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects quality, and efficiency on all job sites. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations on job sites and in shop, ensuring projects adhere to safety protocols and project specifications. Coordinate with team members to assign tasks related to welding fabrication, and assembly. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and installation processes. Operate and oversee the use of power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Manage rigging operations and crane usage to ensure safe lifting and movement of materials. Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards during fabrication and installation activities. Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools. Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular safety meetings. Train and mentor team members in welding techniques (TIG, MIG, Plasma), machining, soldering, pipe threading, and other technical skills. Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Requirements Proven experience in construction site supervision or leadership roles within manufacturing or fabrication environments. Extensive knowledge of welding processes including MIG, TIG, FCAW, as well as fabrication techniques involving sheet metal. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, rigging equipment, forklifts, machining tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction materials such as pipe threading and assembly of fabricated components. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards applicable to manufacturing and construction projects. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards.
