Job Description

Job Overview Cannon Companies is seeking a Restoration Operations Manager to lead restoration operations supporting our Outside Plant (OSP) division. This role will oversee asphalt and concrete restoration associated with telecom and utility construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong field leadership experience along with estimating knowledge related to asphalt and concrete restoration work. This individual will play a key role in building Cannon's restoration capabilities by coordinating field crews, developing operational processes, supporting project estimating, and ensuring restoration work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position includes operational and financial responsibility for restoration activities within the division, including oversight of production, project costs, and revenue performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage asphalt and concrete restoration operations supporting OSP telecom construction projects Develop production schedules, crew assignments, and restoration timelines Supervise field crews including operators, laborers, and subcontractors Prepare and review restoration estimates including asphalt patching, concrete replacement, and surface restoration Assist with bid preparation, cost forecasting, and job costing Maintain financial oversight of restoration operations including revenue, cost control, and overall department performance Track production metrics and ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule Coordinate closely with OSP project managers, field supervisors, and telecom clients Ensure restoration work meets municipal, county, and client standards Conduct site visits and quality control inspections Develop processes, procedures, and standards for restoration operations within the OSP division Ensure documentation, reporting, and project closeout requirements are completed Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company safety policies Required Experience 7+ years of experience in asphalt, concrete, or civil restoration work 5+ years of experience supervising construction crews and managing field operations Strong understanding of asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, and restoration practices Experience preparing or supporting restoration construction estimates Experience managing project costs, budgets, and production targets Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites Why Join Us Competitive $95K
