Job Summary Kona Ice of Puyallup, Lakewood, and Tacoma is seeking a highly organized, forward‑thinking Operations Manager to lead our team and oversee the full lifecycle of daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who excels at planning, coordinating, and creating systems that keep people, equipment, and events running smoothly. Role Overview The Operations Manager is the operational heartbeat of Kona Ice. You will implement or design and maintain systems, coordinate daily workflows, and ensure every event is executed with excellence. You'll lead people, maintain Kona Entertainment Vehicles (KEV's), manage processes, and keep our equipment, storage facility, and event operations running like a well‑oiled machine. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily operations of the Kona Ice franchise, ensuring efficient service delivery and high customer satisfaction Manage scheduling, staffing, and training of team members to foster a motivated and well-informed workforce Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment to ensure readiness for daily events Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency, safety, and quality standards Build strong relationships with clients, event organizers, and community partners to expand brand presence Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times Experience Proven leadership experience in managing teams within a service or hospitality environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic setting Excellent communication skills to motivate staff and engage with customers confidently Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail Experience with inventory control, scheduling software, or point-of-sale systems is preferred A positive attitude combined with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service is essential Join us as an Operations Manager and be part of a lively team dedicated to spreading joy one shaved ice at a time! Pay:
$41,600.00 - $51,920.00 per year
