Job Description

Are you an experienced leader who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of people with disabilities? A well-established human services organization is seeking an Area Director to oversee residential and community-based programs serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for guiding operations, developing leaders, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing financial performance, and driving growth across a multi-site service area. What You'll Do Lead and support a team of Program Directors and operational staff across multiple locations. Oversee program quality, regulatory compliance, licensing, and service excellence. Manage budgets, financial performance, forecasting, and resource allocation. Build strong relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, funding agencies, and community partners. Develop and mentor leaders while fostering a positive, accountable culture. Identify opportunities for service expansion and business growth. Ensure programs consistently deliver person-centered, high-quality supports. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field preferred. 4+ years of leadership experience in human services, residential services, healthcare, behavioral health, or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing teams, budgets, and operational performance. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience with regulatory compliance, licensing, and quality assurance processes. A collaborative and influential leadership style with a passion for developing others. Pay:
$84,700.00 - $89,358.50 per year
