Job Description
About the Role As a Production Operations Manager, you will lead high-impact manufacturing teams to drive operational excellence and meet critical production targets. You will leverage your expertise in Lean methodologies and team leadership to optimize workflows, ensure product quality, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Direct daily manufacturing operations to maximize throughput and ensure all quality, safety, and cost-efficiency goals are met. Mentor and develop shift leadership and floor staff to build a high-performing, accountable workforce. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven corrective actions. Champion continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S frameworks to reduce waste. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and process stability. Oversee labor management, including staffing levels and resource allocation, to maintain optimal production capacity. Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and internal compliance protocols across all production activities. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership or plant management. Proven ability to manage production planning, quality systems, and safety regulations. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency. Proficiency in manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Advanced certification or deep practical experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Demonstrated success in driving large-scale process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
