Job Description:
Director of Operations Northside Elevator is looking for a Director of Operations to lead and improve operations across multiple locations including feed production, agronomy, grain handling, logistics, and facilities. This role will focus on driving operational efficiency, improving throughput, controlling costs, and building scalable processes to support long-term growth. The Director of Operations will work closely with leadership and operations teams to improve execution, strengthen accountability, and support customers across Wisconsin's dairy and crop industries. What you'll do Lead operations across multiple locations and business divisions Improve efficiency, throughput, and operational performance Optimize grain flow, feed production, logistics, and inventory management Oversee fleet operations, routing, scheduling, and delivery efficiency Drive labor productivity, cost control, and asset utilization Support maintenance, facility uptime, and capital planning Build accountability through metrics, communication, and continuous improvement Develop and lead high-performing operations teams What we're looking for 10+ years of operations leadership experience Multi-site operations management experience required Agriculture, feed, grain, dairy, or related industry experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to improve operational efficiency and cost structure Experience with ERP systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Excel Systems-thinking mindset with strong execution and accountability Ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive continuous improvement Details Multi-location leadership role based in Wisconsin Family-owned, growth-focused agricultural business Opportunity to make a measurable impact across operations and long-term scalability If you're looking for an opportunity to lead operational excellence in a growing agribusiness, we'd love to connect.
