Greater Green Bay, Wisconsin Area - Relocation Assistance Available A leading North American manufacturer and distributor is seeking a Director of Operations to lead a high-impact operation encompassing process manufacturing, quality laboratory, and distribution center operations . This role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and business performance within a growing, market-leading organization. The Role Reporting to senior operations leadership, the Director of Operations will oversee all aspects of manufacturing, quality, warehousing, and distribution while ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. This leader will play a key role in building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Lead manufacturing, laboratory, and distribution center operations Drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery performance Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, and R D to support growth and customer needs Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Manage budgets, capital projects, inventory, and operational resources Develop, mentor, and retain high-performing teams Serve as a visible, hands-on leader who drives results from the floor. Ideal Background 7+ years of leadership experience in process manufacturing Experience in regulated industries such as chemicals, food, beverage, or related sectors Strong background in operations, quality systems, and continuous improvement Proven ability to lead change, build teams, and improve performance Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Chemistry, or a related field.
