Job Description:
About the Role Frog Creek Partners is an environmental technology company focused on protecting clean water by capturing pollution before it reaches our rivers, lakes, and oceans. We work with cities, engineers, and organizations across North America to deliver practical, scalable stormwater solutions. We're hiring an Operations Lead to help us scale up our field operations. We've been running stormwater field services successfully for years, and we're ready to grow that function by expanding across more projects and more geography.
This is a player-coach role:
you'll be hands-on in the field and shop today, while helping shape how the function scales. The right person sees that as the opportunity. This role is based in Casper, Wyoming. Relocation support is negotiable. Remote is not available. What You'll Do Field operations. You'll lead and support Gutter Bin installations and maintenance jobs across the country, including coordinating with crews on site, problem-solving in real time, managing permitting, and making sure jobs get done safely and to spec. On smaller jobs, you may execute the work yourself. Shop and equipment. When you're not in the field, you'll be in our Casper headquarters preparing equipment, materials, and logistics for upcoming installs and maintenance trips. You'll keep vehicles, trailers, and tools field-ready, and help track inventory. Manufacturing support. You'll have hands-on involvement in our Gutter Bin production work as needed, in support of our manufacturing team. Logistics and coordination. You'll help plan crew deployment, equipment mobilization, travel, and job site readiness, and help source local labor and contractors when needed. Safety and compliance. You'll work in active traffic control environments and field conditions. A safety-first mindset is non-negotiable. Reporting and tools. You'll use Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive), our proprietary app, and other technology tools for field data tracking, reporting, and operational documentation. Continuous improvement. Because you're helping scale this function, you'll have real influence on how we run field operations, shop processes, and equipment readiness. Travel This is a travel-heavy role. Expect significant time on job sites across the US, with the possibility of international work as we expand. Travel volume and destinations vary seasonally and by project. What We're Looking For Required Based in or willing to relocate to Casper, Wyoming Strong work ethic and comfortable with hands-on field work Willing to travel extensively Works well independently and as part of a team Strong communication and problem-solving skills Dependable, organized, and comfortable with ambiguity in developing processes Preferred Experience in stormwater management, environmental services, construction, or field operations Familiarity with vacuum equipment, traffic control environments, and/or confined space operations Familiarity with municipal permitting processes (right-of-way, traffic control, and similar field permits) CDL (or willingness to obtain one with company support) Comfort navigating union work rules, jurisdictional considerations, and union/non-union crew dynamics College degree in a related field Spanish language skills We're especially interested in candidates who want to grow into a leadership role as the company scales and who care about doing work with real environmental impact.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
