Order Desk Clerk

Job Title:

Inventory Specialist Job Description The role involves supporting the order desk by welcoming walk-in customers and explaining the layout of stone slabs in the showroom. You will guide customers, physically showing them the slabs, and track all incoming and outgoing inventory using the WMS called Profit. Responsibilities Manage inventory by receiving incoming and outbound trucks. Handle load sheets and perform data entry into the computer. Read and interpret Excel sheets to keep track of inventory movements. Utilize the Profit system to create and move inventory. Assist with order desk operations without heavy lifting. Provide excellent customer service by answering phones and greeting customers. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience in inventory or order desk operations. Minimum of 1 year of computer experience. Ability to answer phones and greet walk-in customers. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in inventory management, data entry, and customer service. Familiarity with warehouse management systems. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a warehouse setting as part of a national distributor of natural and manufactured stone, tile, and other solid surfaces for commercial and residential applications. Hours are Monday to Friday from 7AM

• 5PM, with eventual shifts from 6AM
• 4PM and rotating 9AM
• 1PM Saturdays. The facility is closed on Sundays and holidays. Employees are provided with water, ice, Gatorade, and coffee, and are required to wear steel-toed shoes, work jeans, and a plain t-shirt. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00
