Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Shipping and Receiving Specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our warehouse operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you'll be responsible for managing the flow of HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies through efficient shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive approach will ensure accurate order fulfillment, timely load and unload activities, and seamless inventory management. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload HVAC products efficiently. Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement accurately. Prepare shipments by packaging products securely, ensuring proper labeling and documentation for delivery. Receive incoming shipments by inspecting items for damage or discrepancies, recording details in the warehouse system (e.g., AS400 or MRP). Organize stock within the warehouse through effective stocking techniques and proper placement for easy retrieval. Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders promptly, maintaining high accuracy levels. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all loading, unloading, and storage activities. Requirements Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving operations. Valid forklift certification; experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is preferred. Experience with warehouse distribution systems such as WMS or AS400; knowledge of MRP systems is a plus. Strong basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment. Ability to operate RF scanners, pack items securely, and perform order picking efficiently. Demonstrated ability to load & unload trucks safely while following all safety guidelines. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and documentation.
