About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Order Processor to support our day-to-day operations. This role is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, communicating with customers as needed, and coordinating internally to ensure orders move smoothly from entry to fulfillment. This position requires strong organization, accountability, and the ability to stay professional and focused in a fast-paced environment. The Order Processor plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and internal efficiency. Work Schedule & Expectations This is an on-site, full-time position. Consistent attendance and punctuality are required. Focus during work hours is expected, as this role directly impacts order accuracy and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Order Processing & Accuracy Enter customer orders accurately and promptly into the system. Verify pricing, product details, shipping terms, and special instructions before submission. Review orders for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and resolve issues before processing. Maintain organized records of orders, changes, and communications. Customer Communication Communicate professionally and clearly with customers regarding orders, timelines, changes, or issues. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and respectful manner. Escalate complex or challenging situations to management when appropriate. Account Management Independently manage assigned customer accounts, including high-volume or demanding accounts. Follow established processes when working with challenging customers. Maintain professionalism and composure in all customer interactions. Internal Coordination Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Communicate delays, issues, or changes proactively. Follow company procedures consistently. Time Management & Workload Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Remain focused during work hours and minimize personal distractions. Communicate workload concerns or questions proactively. Expectations & Professional Standards Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and follow-through. Accepts feedback professionally and applies it to improve performance. Communicates concerns, questions, or capacity issues clearly and in a timely manner. Maintains respectful working relationships with coworkers and management. Understands that compensation, responsibilities, and authority are aligned with experience and tenure. Required Skills & Qualifications College degree required (any field). 1-2 years of prior work experience in an office, operations, customer service, or administrative role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-oriented under pressure. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Basic proficiency with office software and order management systems. Willingness to learn and consistently follow company processes. Ability to manage responsibilities independently and ask for guidance when needed. Preferred (but Not Required) Experience with QuickBooks Desktop. Prior experience in order processing, customer service, or operations. Experience handling high-volume or demanding customer accounts.
