Position Summary Order Entry Specialist is responsible for entering, reviewing, and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently. Reporting to Program Management, this entry-level role works closely with internal teams to ensure order details are complete, issues are resolved quickly, and customers receive timely updates throughout the fulfillment process. Key Responsibilities & Duties Accurately enter customer orders into the system (ERP/CRM) based on received documentation. Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, product codes, and delivery of information. Verify customer information, including billing and shipping details. Communicate with customers or internal teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information. Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely order processing and fulfillment. Monitor order status and provide updates to customers and stakeholders. Maintain and update records related to orders, cancellations, and returns. Assist with order adjustments, backorders, and documentation as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and data accuracy standards. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or coursework is a plus. 1-3 years of experience in order entry, customer service, administrative support, or a similar office-based role preferred. Basic understanding of order processing or supply chain workflows is helpful. Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy and effective organization and time management skills. Customer-focused mindset, Team-oriented attitude, Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems Experience using ERP or CRM systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce is a plus. Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to work on-site in a factory environment (noise, temperature variation, PPE requirements) Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly to production floor issues Compensation & Benefits $16-$18/hr DOE Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. 401K Retirement Plan to help you plan for a secure future.
