Graduation Processor Florida Tech - 4.0 Melbourne, FL Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Access Word processing Task prioritization Productivity software Full Job Description The Graduation Processor is responsible for processing graduation petitions, reviewing and auditing all graduation-related materials, and performing other tasks related to degree conferrals. This individual works closely with other staff in the graduation department and provides support and guidance to faculty, staff, and students. This position also assists with various components of commencement preparations.
Responsibilities:
Process graduation petitions and course substitutions, perform degree audits, and post degrees utilizing Degree Works and Banner. Generate and format multiple reports for the graduation office and academic departments using MS Access and Banner. Provide support to academic departments - inform faculty, staff, and students about graduation policies, procedures, and requirements. Assist students by answering phones, emails, and walk-ins.
Assist with commencement preparations:
Grad Fair days Develop and distribute commencement flyers Maintain attendance lists and commencement booklet information Participate in commencement ceremonies to provide event support as assigned Utilize Xtender database to file documents and student records. Order diplomas, prepare diploma covers for commencement, and assist graduates with duplicate diploma requests. Other duties as assigned.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent knowledge obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience). A college degree is preferred. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience required in the area of expertise.
