POSITION SUMMARY

The Combo Selector position is responsible for utilizing a pallet jack to select, stack and wrap product on pallets in the distribution center. The Combo Selector uses a double pallet jack and travels throughout the DC selecting and palletizing a stores order. The selector moves from aisle to aisle and slot to slot until the order is complete and then brings the product to a staging door location to be loaded. The selector must follow prescribed rules in the process of completing their work. The orders can be selected in produce, floral, grocery, deli, table & vine and any department slotted with product. Some are refrigerated and some not. Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred. Ability to represent A Culture of Caring and The Pursuit of Excellence™ through the support of Big Y's Mission & Vision. Willingness to learn and perform other tasks as needed. Must project a clean and professional appearance. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and businesslike conduct. Ability to operate within Company policies, procedures, and standards. Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the department. Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. Ability to learn and utilize computer applications. Must be 18 years of age. Must consent to and pass a drug screen at time of hire or transfer.
