General Description:

This position plays a vital role in the efficient operations of our warehouse by meticulously fulfilling orders, maintaining optimal storage conditions, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role will demonstrate a commitment to our organizations mission and values while undertaking various responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

Accurately pick and assemble orders for agency pickups and branch deliveries using designated pick lists. Navigate warehouse layouts to efficiently locate and select products. Monitor and maintain proper warehouse temperatures to protect product quality and safety. Follow cold chain procedures when handling and transporting temperature-sensitive products. Track product quantities and communicate low inventory levels to supervisors. Inspect products for quality and ensure items meet organizational standards before fulfilling orders. Verify order accuracy by cross-referencing selected items with pick lists and resolving discrepancies. Properly package, label, and prepare orders to prevent damage and ensure clear identification. Assist agency representatives with loading completed orders into vehicles. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Experience:

Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and ability to work safely in various environments. Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace. Understanding of inventory rotation practices, including FIFO and FEFO principles. Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and update tracking systems. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with supervisors and team members. Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Ability to identify and resolve order discrepancies and inventory issues. Knowledge of food handling, health, safety, and industry-specific guidelines. Ability to contribute ideas and support process improvements. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, order volumes, and inventory demands. Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy and product quality.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
