Job Description

Headquartered in Novi, Michigan, Quality Choice|CDMA, is a privately held wholesaler that provides over 1,000 private-label over-the-counter products for health, beauty, and wellness using our trademarked brand name Quality Choice. We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team. The Sales Order Processor is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer sales orders to ensure timely fulfillment and high levels of customer satisfaction. This role serves as a key point of coordination between Sales, Warehouse, Accounting, Purchasing, and eCommerce teams, ensuring orders are entered correctly, communicated clearly, and resolved promptly when issues arise. The Sales Order Processor plays an essential role in supporting daily sales operations and maintaining accurate order and customer records in a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities Sales Order Processing & Accuracy Enter and process customer sales orders accurately and in a timely manner. Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, terms, freight details, and compliance with company policies. Process a variety of order types, including standard orders, website orders, emailed and EDI orders. Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and order data within company systems. Customer Communication & Support Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, pricing, availability, and order status. Communicate order confirmations, changes, backorders, and shipment updates to customers as needed. Work with customers and internal teams to resolve order discrepancies, shortages, or issues. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate closely with Sales Account Managers to support customer needs and sales initiatives. Coordinate with Warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipment of customer orders. Work with Accounting to address billing questions, credits, and payment-related issues. Communicate with Purchasing regarding product availability, backorders, and substitutions. Documentation & Reporting Maintain organized and accurate order documentation and records. Assist with generating reports related to order volume, order status, and customer activity as requested. Support audit and reconciliation activities related to sales orders and shipments. Process Support & Continuous Improvement Follow established procedures for order entry, processing, and communication. Identify opportunities to improve order accuracy, efficiency, and customer experience. Perform additional administrative or operational tasks as assigned to support Sales and Operations teams. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or coursework preferred. 1-3 years of experience in order processing, customer service, sales support, or a related role preferred. Experience in a wholesale, distribution, or membership-based environment preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word; ERP system experience (NetSuite or similar) preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions This position operates in a standard office environment. Full-time, non-exempt position.
