Job Description:

Zimmer Group US Inc. is a growing subsidiary of our headquarters in Germany. We are one of the worldwide leading manufacturers and distributors of automation components and system solutions. We are seeking a reliable Order Processing Representative who is responsible for the Order Processing workflow. In addition, the Order Processing Representative will perform other general office tasks to support the sales team. At least two years of experience as an office clerk

• ~80-90%)
• Accurately enter and manage customer requests (quotes, orders, etc.) in the ERP system
• Review orders for completeness, pricing, and shipping instructions
• Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and Finance on order-related topics
• Monitor order status and proactively resolve discrepancies
• Ensure timely processing and adherence to internal service levels Customer & Internal Support
• Respond to customer inquiries related to order status, documentation, and general requests
• Coordinate internally to ensure smooth order fulfillment
• Route technical or commercial inquiries to the appropriate teams Trade/Import-Export Support (Secondary
• ~10-20%)
• Assist with the preparation of shipping and export documentation
• Support classification and data maintenance (e.g., HTSUS codes)
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records related to shipments and trade compliance
• Support compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements Process & System Support
• Assist in maintaining data accuracy in ERP/CRM systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within Order Processing and operations
• Provide backup support within the team as needed Qualifications
• Experience and Skill Requirements
• Associate's degree or equivalent as a minimum
• Min. of 3 to 5 years of experience in Order Processing, Customer Service, Logistics, or Operations

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments preferred
• Exposure to shipping, import/export, or freight processes is a plus Skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Self-starter who can easily manage and organize their responsibilities and follow instruction
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Experience working with ERP and CRM systems
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbally Nice to Have
• Basic knowledge of import/export processes or documentation
