Job Description

Job Summary:
As an Order Entry/Customer Associate at our school, you will be responsible for accurately processing purchase orders, managing supply requests from teachers and staff, and serving as a point of contact for vendors and internal departments.
Responsibilities:
Order Entry & Processing:
Receive purchase requisitions and supply requests from teachers, department heads, and administrative staff. Generate and submit purchase orders to approved vendors. Track order status and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Receiving & Distribution Support:
Coordinate with the warehouse or receiving team to confirm that incoming orders have been received. Verify that received quantities match purchase orders and packing slips. Assist with labeling and organizing received items for distribution.
Inventory Management Support:
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records of frequently ordered supplies. Monitor stock levels of common items (paper, pens, cleaning supplies, etc.) and alert management when reordering is necessary. Identify and report discrepancies between ordered and received quantities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment.
Pay:
$21.89 - $25.91 per hour
