Turbines Incorporated (TI) in Seneca, SC is currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated teammate to fulfill an Administrative Assistant Order Processing Associate vacancy. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Administrative Assistant / Order Processing Associate is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support while also coordinating incoming customer orders, order picking, and staging ("kitting") of products for production or processing. This role helps ensure efficient office operations and smooth workflow between office administration, inventory, and production activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
…and other duties as assigned: Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally Process incoming customer orders accurately and efficiently Coordinate order entry, tracking, and documentation Pick and stage materials, components, and products for work orders and production ("kitting") Verify order accuracy and ensure all required materials are available prior to production Maintain organized records, filing systems, and inventory documentation Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and general correspondence Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities Assist management with special projects and additional administrative dutiesQUALIFICATIONS
Possess customer service focused mindset Ability to work between different manufacturing departments Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience navigating enterprise management software Basic inventory, shipping, or production coordination experience preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment COMMUNICATION and/orCRITICAL THINKING
SKILLS and/orORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
Knowledge of electrical or electronics, engineering, troubleshooting principles, theories and concepts in accordance with standard company procedures and policies. Strong Computer proficiency Ability to multi-task Ability to work at an efficient pace Ability to work independently Detail oriented Must possess good office housekeeping ability Problem solving abilities Good communication skills EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
: Prior customer service or order processing experience High School DiplomaPHYSICAL ABILITY
Occasional reaching/working overhead, stooping, kneeling, or crouching Lifting requirements include occasional lifting up to 40 pounds, frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 poundsWORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is typically exposed to inside temperatures ranging from 70 to 75 degrees The associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts The noise level in the work environment varies between quiet and loudBENEFITS
