We provide rewarding and purposeful work. Why This Role Matters The Order Clerk is responsible for the overall supplies and equipment ordering system. This person keeps records of all goods shipped and received; prepares shipments and accepts deliveries; orders via the Purchase Order system supplies and equipment as directed by Project Manager; administers the Key Control Program; coordinates with respective Assistant Project Managers (Day vs. Night) and Floor Managers (Day vs. Night) to determine supplies required on a recurring basis and places an order for same to the appropriate Didlake Pentagon vendor, and maintains a current inventory of equipment for the project site. What You Will Do Logistics & Inventory Management Coordinates timely deliveries of supplies and equipment to the Pentagon and SMOC Complex. Orders, tracks, and maintains accountability for supplies, equipment, shipping documents, back orders, and serialized equipment. Ensures supply storage locations are adequate, secure, and organized. Coordinates loading dock deliveries and pickups, transporting supplies and equipment using pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment. Compliance & Equipment Support Ensures delivery personnel meet Pentagon clearance requirements and submits required access documentation for personnel and vehicles. Tracks custodial equipment repairs and serves as liaison between management and vendors. Maintains contractual compliance for MATS. Oversees mop/rag tub preparation for transport and laundering and removes, installs, and repairs restroom dispensers. Team Support & Additional Duties Fosters teamwork while balancing team and individual responsibilities; promotes dependability, strong business ethics, professional appearance, and quality performance. Performs other duties as directed by the Project Manager in support of the Pentagon project. May not exceed three (3) hours per day in an office environment.
Requirements:
What You Bring Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent. A minimum of two (2) years prior experience in custodial services. Skills & Abilities Efficient in the safe operation and use of industrial cleaning products and equipment Must have a working knowledge of the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) applicable in the Didlake Pentagon project. Must possess strong communication skills including the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals, write routine reports and correspondence, and present information to custodians and supervisors. Must project a positive and professional image to the public, co-workers, and Didlake clients. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
